Dora A. Suarez passed away in her home from a sudden heart attack on Thursday morning, February 13, 2014. She was born in Port Lavaca, Texas on December 14, 1935 and lived in Kingsville over 70 years. She was 78 years old.
Mrs. Suarez was preceded in death by one sister, Maria Mora and three brothers, Francisco Alvarez, Eliseo Alvarez and Jose Alvarez.
Dora is survived by her husband of 60 years of marriage, Rogelio Suarez of Kingsville two sons, Roy Suarez Jr. Grace of Kingsville and Ralph Suarez Missy of Ballinger, Texas three daughters, Sylvia Gonzalez Felix of Abilene, Texas, Rosie Suarez Poindexter and Dori Rubio Albert, both of Round Rock, Texas brother, Abelardo Alvarez of Kingsville 13 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Dora was an inspiration to all of her children and taught them love, compassion, patience and understanding. Most importantly, her faith helped guide her children to believe and know Jesus Christ. Dora lived out her faith on a daily basis. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially all of her children.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at St. Martins Catholic Church, Kingsville. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
