Dora Saavedra

Miss Dora Saavedra, age 88, a resident of Kingsville, Texas and a former resident of Premont, Texas passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Kingsville. She was born February 20, 1928 in Kingsville to Enemencio Saavedra and Nazaria Garcia Saavedra. Miss Saavedra was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Enemencio Saavedra and Nazaria Garcia Saavedra; four brothers, Roberto G. Sabedra, Enemencio G. Saavedra, Jr., Modesto G. Saavedra Sr. and Samuel G. Saavedra Sr.; and one sister, Dominga S. Hinojosa.
Miss Saavedra is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at St. Theresa of the Infant Catholic Church, 235 SW 4th Street, Premont, Texas. Burial followed in Premont at Premont Cemetery.
Services were entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
