Diomira Gomez

Diomira O. Gomez, age 84, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born July 12, 1930 in Kingsville to Guadalupe and Dora Olivares. Mrs. Gomez was a member of El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents two sisters, Palmira Pena and Delmira Medina and one brother, Joel Olivares.
She is survived by eight children, Ruth Edmundo Perez of Alice, Texas, Judith Juan A. Ortiz of Hondo, Texas, Raquel Gomez of Bellevue, Washington, Rebecca Vela, Jesus Arcadio Elvia Gomez, Martha Ruben deceased DeLaGarza, Diomira Dydee Gomez and Javier Erica Gomez, all of Kingsville 17 grandchildren 22 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 at El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church, 416 North 9th Street, Kingsville. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
