Dickie Yaklin

Richard "Dickie" Aloysius Yaklin Jr., age 66, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born January 21, 1949 in Alice, Texas to Richard A. Yaklin Sr. and Kathryn "Pat" Miller Yaklin.
Richard was employed 36 years for DCP Midstream as a pipeline supervisor until his retirement. He was a member of Kiwanis Club of Kingsville and St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years of marriage, Catherine Yaklin of Kingsville; one son, Justin Yaklin (Leigh) of Buda, Texas; and two sisters, Cheryl Pratz (Steve) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Kathy Murphy (John) of Groesbeck, Texas.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Vattmann, Texas at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Cemetery.
