David Mouser, age 62, a resident of New Braunfels, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in New Braunfels. He was born September 19, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to John A. Mouser and Pauline Jones Mouser. He worked for the oil industry as a consultant. Mr. Mouser joined the Cimarron Engineering Team in September 2004 and was in his ninth year with the company in 2014. Before coming on board with Cimarron David had 27 years of experience in the cased hole wireline business as an engineer, salesman, and manager. He worked for Welex, Computalog, and Weatherford in areas including South Texas, West Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Utah. David has over 36 years of experience in the oilfield. He was doing well site consulting work for a various group of independent companies with work ranging from new well completions, re-completions, workovers, coil tubing, slick line, and fishing jobs. Like the other Cimarron consultants Mr. Mouser took pride in his work and bases his reputation on honesty, dependability, and the ability to get the job done.
He enjoyed sports especially the Dallas Cowboys and any sports team from Arizona. David's hobby and favorite thing to do was to buy trucks and fix them up. David could not pass up a truck dealership without stopping and trading in or buying a new truck, LOL. David loved his family - especially his daughters and sons - and siblings and their children, and always wanted to tell everyone about what they were doing. He cherished his parents living with him while they were still alive. David was a strong Christian man with deep religious convictions. He also loved Cimarron Engineering and was proud to be a part of the company. He also loved his faithful companion "Prince" and took him everywhere with him - to work, drives on the beach, and basically anywhere he went that he could take his dog. You would always see Prince on an oil and gas location sitting in the truck or on his leash attached to the bumper of David's truck. If David was your friend you had a friend for life and he would do anything for you, he was closest to his oilfield buddies! David loved hanging out at the office and talking with all the office staff, he could hang around for hours.
He is survived by five children, Michelle Ray, Kasandra Mouser, Josh Mouser, David R. Mouser and Pauline Kerr; siblings, Nancy Kessay, Barney Mouser and Paul Mouser; and five grandchildren, Amber Mouser, Keely Ray, David Ray, Sebastian Bishop and Kailynne Kerr.
