Daniel Gonzalez

Daniel Lee Gonzalez, age 31, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Kingsville. He was born August 19, 1985 in Kingsville to Daniel Cerda and Josephine Gonzalez. Daniel was employed as a scaffold builder.
He is survived by his father, Daniel Cerda (Linda) of Corpus Christi, Texas. Other survivors, all of Kingsville, include his mother, Josephine Utley (Robert), one brother, John Anthony Vargas (Jennifer), two sisters, Alyssa Acevedo (Juan) and Twyla Bazaldua (Valentin), and two sons, Daniel Lee Gonzalez Jr. and Davian Nathaniel Gonzalez; one-half sister, Emily Cerda (Gil) of Maine; two step-brothers, Robert Utley Jr. (Vanessa) of Kingsville and David Flores (Priscilla) of McAllen, Texas; 11 nieces and eight nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, Bishop. Burial will follow in Bishop at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
