Dale Jaggars

Dale Jaggars, a devoted husband, caring father, and cherished grandfather, embarked on his final journey on October 8, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on November 21, 1942, in Dublin, Texas, Dale's life was a rich tapestry woven with love, laughter, and adventure.

Educated at Long Beach State University, Dale earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering which laid the foundation for a successful career as a Project Manager at Kimberly Clark. His professional life was marked by dedication and a penchant for problem-solving, qualities that also defined his approach to life itself.

Dale served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy Reserve, enlisting on February 10, 1960, and completing active duty aboard the USS Mansfield in Japan until his discharge on March 2, 1964. This experience shaped him into a disciplined and resilient individual, traits he carried with him throughout his life.

His marriage to Carol Jaggars was the cornerstone of his happiness, a partnership filled with warmth and camaraderie. Together, they embraced the joys of retirement, embarking on memorable travels across the United States and even to the picturesque landscapes of Vancouver, Canada. Dale was known to sit on his porch, a welcoming figure for all who passed by. With a twinkle in his eye, he would often greet dog owners with a playful remark—“You need to watch that mean dog”—a reflection of his kind-hearted nature and love for animals.

Dale's passions were many. He found joy in golfing and skeet shooting, often bonding with friends and fellow enthusiasts at California's Flying Tigers Golf Club, where he celebrated not just the sport but the camaraderie it fostered. As an adventurer at heart, he reveled in the experiences life offered, creating cherished memories that he shared with his family.

Left to honor his memory are his beloved wife, Carol; his son, Brian K. Jaggars; his daughter, Leigh-Ann Pierce; and his treasured grandchild, Victoria Ezell. His love and legacy will continue to shine through them. Additionally, Dale is remembered fondly by his siblings: sister Lorrie Cullen, and brothers Alan and Donald Jaggars.

Dale is reunited in spirit with those who have gone before him, including his late sister Carroll J. MacDonald and his parents, Guy Milton Jaggars and Lillie Joyce Jaggars. Each of them added a unique thread to the fabric of his life, influencing the man he became and the family he cherished.

As we celebrate the life of Dale Jaggars, let us carry forth his spirit of kindness, adventure, and humor, may we reflect on a man whose legacy is etched in the hearts of those who knew him. From his gentle humor to his unwavering love, he leaves behind a world forever touched by his kindness and spirit. May his journey beyond this life be as adventurous as the life he lived so beautifully.
