Consuelo Gutierrez

Consuelo Garcia Gutierrez, 81, passed away on March 15, 2021 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on September 17, 1939 in Kingsville, Texas to Hilario Garcia, Sr. and Antonia Villanueva Garcia.

Consuelo was a loving Mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. She worked for 55 years for Dairy Queen in Kingsville, Beeville and Bishop. Family was the most important part of Consuelo’s life. She enjoyed visiting with family and attending as many family gatherings as possible.

Consuelo is preceded in death by her Husband, Ernan Castillo Gutierrez, her father, Hilario Garcia, Sr., her mother, Antonia Villanueva Garcia, sisters, Tomasa G. Trevino, Esperanza G. Mayorga, Dora G. Vera, brothers, Hilario V. Garcia, Jr and Gregorio Garcia

Consuelo is survived by her Sons, Leroy (Bobbi) Gutierrez, Ernie (Traci) Gutierrez, Dino (Mary) Gutierrez and stepson Arnold (Yolanda) Gutierrez; 9 grandchildren, Katarina, Sadie, Arnold Jr., Corey, Alex, Anthony, Kelsey (Ross) Chapman, Bailey; 2 great-grandchildren, Dari and Riley; Brothers, Reynaldo V. Garcia (Cecilia), Domingo V. Garcia (Josefina) and many nephew and nieces.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Interment will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
