Coleen Huey Miller, age 61, passed away on August 20, 2016. She was born on December 6, 1954 to Mickey Huey and Doris Smith in Kingsville, Texas. She was employed by Andrews Distributing for over 20 years. She was a very involved member at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bishop, Dorcas Circle, and the St. Paul Birthday Club. She really enjoyed arts and crafts, attending the Country Peddler Show, and Coleen especially loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father Mickey Huey.
Coleen is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Tem Miller of Bishop; her mother, Doris Huey of Bishop; one brother, Noal (Hali) Huey of Seymore, Wisconsin; three nephews, Kyle Huey, Cody Huey, and Clint Huey; one step-son, Tres Miller of Kingsville; two step-daughters, Tami Miller, and Cathy Miller of Mathis; four grandchildren, Victoria and Sydney Miller, Caitlyn and Talina Miller; one great-nephew Lane Huey; and two great-nieces Journey Huey and Charlie Huey.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Matthew Ulmer officiating. Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
