Cole Garza

Cole Garza, age 78, a resident of Houston, Texas and a former resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born February 10, 1937 in Rio Hondo, Texas to Nicolas Garza and Herminia Echavarria Garza. Mr. Garza was a home builder. Mr. Garza was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years of marriage, Socorro DeLeon Garza of Houston; one daughter, Christie N. Garza of Houston; five brothers, Daniel Garza, Benito Garza (Maria) and Jose Garza (Pam), all of Riviera, Ovidio Garza of Houston and Homero Garza (Mary Alice) of Riviera; and sister, Antonia Garza of Pennsylvania.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Kingsville. Burial with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Funeral Military Detail will follow in Riviera at Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
