Charles Edward Bull passed away February 9, 2023, at the age of eighty-eight with his devoted wife of sixty-five years at his side. Charlie was born in Ringling, Oklahoma on November 14, 1934, the son of Forice Wilton Bull and Lola Hardy Bull. Charlie is a graduate of Bishop High School and Texas A & I University. On June 1, 1957, Charlie and Molly Noble were married in Kingsville, Texas. Charlie served in the U.S. Army, worked at Celanese Chemical, and taught U.S. and Texas history. Charlie loved the Texas Hill Country, Texas history, good books, woodcarving, and most of all his family. Charlie should be remembered for his selfless devotion to his wife and family.
Among those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Molly; his three sons Bret Bull (Jana), Burt Bull (Linda) and Bren Bull (Angela); six grandchildren, Bethanny Koepp (Kameron), Hailey Gillam (Jared), Dillard Bull, Bryson Bull, Grant Garza, and Grace Bull as well as his brother, Stanley Bull and sisters, June Lauren and Sue Leigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James Bull and Fuston Bull; sister, Chesna May, and son, Bron Bull.
Services will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at ten o’clock in the morning at Turcotte-Piper Funeral Home in Kingsville, Texas with burial to follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
