Carolyn Louise Moore Bandelow, 77 years old, was born in Pine Bluff Arkansas to Mike Moore and Joyce Cobb on January 2, 1945. She was a resident of Kingsville, Texas at time of her death which resulted from a brain tumor operation that was only discovered two weeks prior. She married into the Navy and began to travel through the South Pacific (Hawaii, Guam, Midway Island) and many of the southern States until arriving in South Texas residing in both Beeville and Kingsville.

While in Beeville, Carol received her nursing credentials, LVN, from Bee County College and was able to use her training to fulfill her gift and delight of serving others. She continued that service to friends and community in various roles in the hospital, private clinic and serving as a school nurse in both Tuloso Midway and Agua Dulce/Banquete which is where she retired.

Carol was also a very active member at her church, First Christian Church (now BT Church), Kingsville. There Carol was served people of the community through the food pantry and other ministries.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mike Moore and Joyce Cobb and brother, Steve Moore.

Carol leaves behind family and friends that cared for her deeply. This includes her husband of 28 years, Erich Bandelow; children, Cindee Pate (Charley), James Arnold (Jennifer); 8 grandchildren, Sunny Pate, Buck Pate, Mya Pate, Sarah Arnold, Rebekah Arnold, Emma Arnold, Trey Arnold, and John Erich Arnold; and Carol’s siblings, Clyde Moore (Elida), and Mattie Kitchens (Eddie).

The family will receive condolences at 1:00PM on August 13, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Immediately following, there will be a memorial service to begin at 2:00PM.
