Bob L. Stout, age 90, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. He was born on September 10, 1925 in Chanute, Kansas to Frank P. Stout and Gladys Fay Lemon. He was retired from J.C. Penney as a store manager after 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kingsville and a World War II veteran of U.S. Navy. He was a member of the McAllen Masonic Lodge for 45 years. He was also a member of the Houston Scottish Rite and Al Amin Shriners in Corpus Christi since 1974.
Mr. Stout is preceded in death by first wife, Birdie M. Stout and second wife, Lois May Stout; and his brothers, Chester Stout, Donald Stout and Lester Stout and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Sally (Oscar) Arce and Jimmy (Laura) Stout; grandchildren, Austin (Kelli) Arce, Amy (Kyle) Arnold, James Stout and Nathan Stout; great-grandchildren, Colton, Caroline, and Kyleigh Arnold. He is also survived by his sister, Marjorie (Rob) Sledge; and sister-in-law, Marilouis Stout; one niece and two nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Robert Sledge officiating. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery with military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Funeral Military Detail.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
