Barbara Moring

Barbara Jean Brewer Moring, 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. She was the devoted wife of Joseph Herndon Moring for 65 years. Barbara was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Brewer and Lena Yazell
Weidemann (Elmer). Barbara graduated from Brownwood High School, and she attended Daniel Baker College in Brownwood, Texas. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church for over six decades. The family will miss Barbara's delightful sense of amusement and her spirited laughter. She loved her family, the color green, the smell of gardenias and "bling."

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Herndon Moring, her daughters, Teresa Ann Phillips, Molly Laverne Argo (Terry), son, John Joseph Moring (Catherine) four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Janis Eckert. Barbara was
predeceased by her son, Edward Alan Moring, and her brother, John Brewer.

Visitation will be at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Bishop, Texas. A Graveside service will be held
at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Eastlawn Memorial Park, 1921 Early Blvd, Early, Texas.
