Baldemar "Balde" Villarreal, age 72, a resident of Cypress, Texas and a former longtime resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in Tomball, Texas. He was born May 21, 1943 in Sarita, Texas to Victor Villarreal and Hilaria Morales Villarreal. He was employed by Texas Instruments, Houston, Texas until his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Riviera.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Tircio Villarreal.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Clemencia Villarreal; his two sons, Patrick Villarreal and Daniel Villarreal (Susan); three grandsons, Andrew, Christopher and Michael Villarreal; brother, Vidal Villarreal; two sisters, Elvia Sloan and Ofelia Diaz; and many, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation in Houston will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home. Baldemar's Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at mortuary in Houston.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel, Kingsville. A Rosary will be recited by Mr. Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 111 South Second Street in Riviera, Texas. Interment will follow in Riviera, Texas at Riviera Cemetery.
Local arrangements entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 E. General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
