Arturo Rojas

Arturo Pena Rojas, age 76, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born October 29, 1937 in Bishop, Texas to Benigno Rojas and Sara Pena Rojas. Mr. Rojas was a painter until his retirement. He was a member of El Redentor United Methodist Church, Bishop.
Mr. Rojas was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Esmeralda Galindo Hector grandson, Jonathan Javier Rojas parents and six brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years of marriage, Oralia G. Rojas of Bishop four daughters, Edna Rodriguez Martin of Richmond, Texas, Yolanda Rojas Joe of Toledo, Ohio, Nelda Ortiz Eddie of Orange Grove, Texas and Yvonne Tamez Ruben of Bishop three sons, Arturo Rojas Jr. Selinda of Bishop, Luis Rojas Laura of Kingsville, Texas and Javier Rojas of Bishop three sisters, Evangelina Caldera of Alice, Texas, Raquel Garcia of San Diego, Texas and Elizabeth Garza of Austin, Texas 21 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 at El Redentor United Methodist Church, 406 West 6th Street, Bishop, with Pastor Javier Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Dad, you will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved you.
