Armando M. Banda

Armando M. Banda, a beloved family man, devoted husband, and cherished friend, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Kingsville, Texas. Born on March 22, 1981, Armando’s life was one marked by laughter, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family.

Armando dedicated himself to the healthcare industry, working two jobs where he touched many lives. His passion for helping others was evident in everything he did, balancing his professional obligations with a rich home life. He was a true jokester, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and bring smiles to those around him. His sense of humor was only matched by his devotion to his family, whom he loved beyond measure.

As a father, Armando took immense pride in coaching his daughters' softball teams for many years, where he instilled not just skills but also values of teamwork and perseverance. His passion for sports extended to his love for watching games with family, where he cheered on his favorite teams—the Dallas Cowboys, Longhorns, and Astros—with fervor and enthusiasm. This camaraderie created countless precious memories that will forever be held dear by his loved ones.

Armando was also an avid car enthusiast, a proud member of a local car club, and a participant in numerous car shows. These interests illustrated his vibrant personality, zest for life, and were gateways that allowed him to connect with others who shared his passions.

Armando is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Banda; daughters, Lauran M. Banda and Marissa Huerta; granddaughter, Briella Huerta; sisters, Lisa Banda and Monika (Trino Galindo) Moreno; brothers, Calistro (Katherine) Banda Jr. and Roland Banda; as well as a vast family of 26 nieces and nephews and 22 great nephews who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calistro Banda and Laura Moreno, whose love and guidance he cherished throughout his life. They welcomed him back with open arms, having shaped the man he became.
