Archer Teas

Archer Bowers Teas, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Bishop, Texas. He was born in Lockhart, Texas on July 15, 1923 to Eula Belle and Norman Archer Teas.
A United States Army Air Corp veteran, Archer retired from Celanese Corporation after 30 years of service as a shift supervisor. He farmed for over 70 years in the Bishop area. Archer loved playing golf and scored a few Holes In One in his lifetime, scoring the last one when he was 75 years old.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 50 years, Jeanne Teas.
Archer was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Tommy (Lisa) Teas of Conroe, Texas, Terrie (Glenn) Coleman of Corpus Christi, Texas and Tim (Tracy) Teas of Sierra Vista, Arizona; grandchildren, Amanda (Jim) Turner, Debbie & Jennifer Teas, Cody (Kassidy) Coleman, Brent (Stephanie) Coleman, Morgan, Avery and Matthew Teas; and great-grandchildren, Cylas and Camille Coleman.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Azalea Jimenez who was his loving caretaker for several years and who was by his side day and night.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Clif Abshier officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Bishop.
