Apolonia Jimenez

Apolonia B. Jimenez, age 87, a resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born August 13, 1926 in Kingsville, Texas to Elojio Del Bosque and Amada Garcia Del Bosque. Mrs. Jimenez, a homemaker, was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Riviera.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelo Jimenez.
Mrs. Jimenez is survived by two sons, Marcelo Jimenez Jr. Carolina of Falfurrias, Texas and Lauro Jimenez of Riviera two grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Mr. Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 111 South Second Street, Riviera, with Fr. Peter Antony as celebrant. Burial will follow in Riviera at the Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
