Angelita Garza

Angelita Perales Garza, passed peacefully to her eternal life on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the age of ninety-two years old. Angelita was born December 2, 1930, in Mexico to Marcelo Perales†, and Guadalupe Arizmendi†.  

Angelita is preceded in death by her parents; Marcelo Perales†, and Guadalupe Arizmendi†, husband, Guadalupe Garza, and son, Hector Guadalupe Garza†.

Angelita was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She will be profoundly remembered for the happiness and love she spread to others and leaves behind great memories at gatherings with family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving sister, Tomasita Larrasquitu, her loving daughter, Blanca Margarita (Ruben Perez), three grandchildren, Jocelyn Alvarez, Juan Hector Puga, (Reyna), and Julian Puga, three great-grandchildren, Ryan Angelita Alvarez, Andy Augustina Alvarez, and Aaron Juliano Alvarez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  

Public visitation in her honor will take place at Treviño Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd. of Brownsville, Texas on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home.

Visitation resumes Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 103 S. Main St., Sarita, Texas.

Funeral Mass to be held at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish with

Interment to follow at Riviera Cemetery in Riviera, Texas.
