Amado Trevino, Jr.

Amado F. Trevino Jr., age 83, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born July 15, 1930 in Kingsville to Amado Trevino Sr. and Concepcion Flores Trevino. He was employed for Missouri Pacific Railroad for 20 years until his retirement in 1975. He was also a parttime custodian for the Kingsville Independent School District.
Mr. Trevino was preceded in death by his wife, Corina O. Trevino.
He is survived by his children, Amado Jean Trevino III, Velma Alex Flores and Jerry Cathy Trevino five grandchildren, Vanessa Flores, Michael Krishna Flores, Valerie Phillip Colston, Mathew Trevino and Meagan Trevino and two greatgrandchildren, Alyssa Flores and Aiden Flores.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Deacon Raul Rosales officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Military Funeral Detail.
