Amado Mayorga

Amado Moya V. Mayorga, age 100, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born on January 20, 1914 and raised in Sarita, Texas to Juan and Santos Villarreal Mayorga. Moya worked for Elena Kenedy in Sarita for many years, then went to work for San Pedro Kenedy Ranch.
He was preceded in death by his parents brothers sisters and his sonnephew, Abel G. Mayorga.
Moya is survived by his daughterniece, Adela M. Lerma of Sarita and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Sarita, with Fr. Jim Foelker, O.M.I., as celebrant. Burial will follow at Riviera Cemetery, Riviera, Texas.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
