Alvessa Frausto Silguero

Alvessa “Betsy” Silguero of Kingsville, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 70 in her home surrounded by many who loved her.  Betsy was born on July 1, 1951, to Carmen Vinton and Santiago Frausto in Pearsall, Texas.  She was a beautiful soul that loved to dance, vacation on the Frio, and spend time with family.

Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, Emeterio Silguero; parents; sisters, Sylvia Martinez, Elva Mendez, and Connie Rodriquez.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Belinda Alaniz (Preciliano) of Corpus Christi; sons, Roger Ramon, Marco Antonio Silguero and Juan Manuel Silguero (Vanessa), all of Kingsville, and Jesse F. Silguero (Vanessa) of Corpus Christi; siblings, Margarita Bustamante, Teresa Trevino, Raul Frausto, Sr. (Guadalupe), Alex Frausto, Sr. (Mary), Roger (Vicky) Frausto, Rosa (Ernie) Rodriguez, Evon Frausto, and Belen (Antonio) Banda; brothers-in-law, Betin Martinez, Greg Mendez, and Manuel Rodriguez; 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at St. Martin Catholic Church.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
