Alice Womack

Alice "Jean" Womack, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 81. She was born in Oxford, Mississippi to the late Freddie Carl and Iris Brunelle Howard. Jean was a caring, independent, head strong, feisty, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She loved playing bingo, reading suspense novels, going to garage sales, watching scary movies, playing Rummy, listening to old country music and a dance or two, every now and then and above all else spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and a hot topic at all gatherings for many years to come. We love you and will miss you dearly.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Huey Womack; two sons, Benjamin Lloyd Womack and Robert Lloyd Turner. Left behind to cherish her memory is her children, Jennifer DeLaRosa (Raul), Stanley Turner (Shannon), Susan Boyte (Ray) and Freddie Turner (Allison); 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel, Kingsville, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
