Alfonso Perez Jr.

Alfonso Perez Jr., age 70, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born March 9, 1945 in Mexico to Alfonso Perez Sr. and Juanita Flores Perez. Mr. Perez was employed for Smith & Sons until his retirement. Alfonso was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Mr. Perez was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Porfiria Hernandez; nephew, Hector Hernandez; and brother-in-law, Rodolfo Trevino.
Alfonso is survived by his wife of 46 years of marriage, Ofelia Perez of Bishop; one daughter, Paula Perez (Roel) of Bishop; two sons, Ruben Perez of Dallas, Texas and Robert Perez of Corpus Christi, Texas; one granddaughter and best friend, Cleo Perez of Bishop; one brother, Jose Perez (Enedelia) of Bishop; one sister, Maria Trevino of Bishop; and brother-in-law, Eliseo Hernandez Sr. of Bishop.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. John Xaviour as celebrant. Burial will follow in Bishop at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
