Albesa H. Lozano, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the age of 95. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Albesa enjoyed spending time her family; she had a strong faith, enjoyed reading her bible and attending prayer groups. She retired from Texas A&M University-Kingsville after 20 years of service. Albesa will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Lozano; granddaughter, Melissa Flores; parents, Rufino and Eva Hinojosa; mother, Celia V. Hinojosa; brothers, Emede Hinojosa and Rufino Hinojosa, Jr.; and sister, Ninfa Garcia.
Among those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Almira (Ruben) Flores and Diana Lozano; son, Omar (Delia) Lozano; sisters, Olga Vela and Elsa (Ernesto) Hinojosa; brother, Luis (Linda) Hinojosa; grandchildren, Xavier (Nicole) Flores, Clarissa (Rhett) Kruse, Carlos (Francesca) Flores, Omar (Gracie) Lozano, Jr., and Amanda (Adrian Garcia) Lozano; great-grandchildren, Noah Urquidi, Max Flores, Oliver Flores, Matteo Flores, Mauricio Flores, and Alejandra Isla Lozano; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., from 8:00AM to 10:00AM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 9:00AM. Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 10:30AM, to St. Martin Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00AM. A Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
