Alberto Villarreal

Alberto T. Villarreal Sr., 87, passed away on October 3, 2020 in Riviera, Texas. He was born on July 22, 1933 to Maria Villarreal. He was devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Riviera. He prayed the rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily, up to when he was called home by our Lord. He took great pride in owning and caring for his land and cattle. Alberto was a hardworking, loving father that will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Lucinda C. Villarreal; and sisters, Esmeralda Guevara and Zulema Perez.

Alberto is survived by his children, Sylvia (Joe) Martinez, Alberto Villarreal Jr., Mary Ann (Ray) Moreno, Rodolfo Villarreal, Jose Rene (Lionila) Villarreal, Nora (Harold) Bedford, Robert Villarreal, Patricia (Marty) Alegria, Daniel (Irma) Villarreal, Carmen (Marvin) Brooks, Veronica Villarreal; brothers, Carlos Villarreal, and Adan (Edna) Villarreal; 28 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

The family sincerely thanks A-Med Hospice nurse Mylinda for the loving care she showed our Dad.

A special thank you to Father Williams from Christ the King Catholic Church in Corpus Christi for the anointing of the sick and the Celebration of Mass for our dad.

Due to Covid, services will be private. The family would like to thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
