Alberto Silguero

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alberto Silguero on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the age of 52.  He was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  Albert was best known for his heart of gold, his cheerful smile, and sense of humor.  He enjoyed being a cowboy and fishing with his family and friends; although his passion was being a Farrier.  Albert loved spending time with family, still his daughters always came first.  He leaves us with many memories and blessings from his life; his devotion and love will live through us forever.

He is preceded in death by his father, Felix Silguero.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Clarissa (Edward) Vargas and Claudia Silguero; mother, Soveida Silguero; siblings, Noemi S. (Uriel) Flores, Apolonio “Polo” Silguero, and Nelda (Robert) Salinas; nephew, Stephen Salinas and niece, Sydney Salinas; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
