Agustin Garcia

Agustin Garcia, age 82, a resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1933 in Falfurrias, Texas to Martin Garcia and Nieves Narvaez Garcia. Mr. Garcia was a farmer in the Riviera area. He attended Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Vattmann, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Francisca Garcia of Riviera; five daughters, Maria G. Ruiz (Reynaldo) and Becky Vela, both of Kingsville, Texas, Oralia Arguijo (Jesus) of Indiana, Linda Garcia (Leroy) of Sarita, Texas and Gloria Garcia of Raymondville, Texas; five sons, Agustin Garcia Jr., Lionel Garcia (Maria) and David Garcia (Tina), all of Riviera, Mike Garcia (Gina) of Bishop, Texas and Marcos Jimenez (Laura) of Kingsville; one brother, Lucio Pena of Falfurrias; five sisters, Maria Garcia and Antonia Silvas, both of Kingsville, Esperanza Pena of Lubbock, Texas, Esidra Garcia of Hebbronville and Chelo Pena of Falfurrias; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
