Adolfo Chapa

Adolfo De La Cruz Chapa, age 86, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Kingsville. He was born September 29, 1928 in Kingsville to Silvestre Chapa and Martha De La Cruz Chapa. Mr. Chapa was a former employee of Texas A&I University. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church.
Mr. Chapa was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Romero of Kingsville; two grandchildren, John Romero and Ruthie (Mateo) Gonzalez; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. Martin's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
