Adela Munoz

Adela G. Munoz, age 78, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Kingsville Texas. Born April 1, 1935 to Esequiel Garza and Juana Longoria, Adela was raised in the state of Texas in Starr County during the Depression years and then moved to Brooks County. On August 1 1954. Adela married the late Judge Reynaldo M. Munoz of Rio Grande City. Adela touched the lives of many people in the community with her smile, faith, generosity, and maintained her trademark as a devoted Christian all the way to the end. Adela has two departed sisters the late Minerva Garza Fructuoso Garza and the late Cruzita Garza late Gerardo Guerra. She is survived by four sons, Ricardo Mario Cynthia Munoz of Garland, Texas, Ranberto Munoz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Felix E. Munoz of Kingsville, Texas, Rey Mario Munoz of Kingsville, Texas two daughters, Yolanda Munoz David Gonzales of Keller, Texas and Idolina Munoz Roel Escobar of Falfurrias, Texas two brothers, Israel Andelia Garza of Falfurrias Texas, Oscar Rene late Dalia Garza of Falfurrias, Texas four sisters, Guadalupe Garza late Alberto Diaz of Falfurrias Texas, Ofelia Garza late Jose Angel Lopez of Falfurrias Texas, Leonora Garza late Gabino Garcia of San Antonio Texas, Consuelo Garza late Vivianio Lupe Ruiz of Falfurrias Texas 14 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
