Abel Garza, Jr.

Abel Garcia Garza Jr., age 65, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born March 29, 1950 in Kingsville to Abel Garza Sr. and Nieves Garcia Garza. Mr. Garza was employed for Celanese Chemical Plant for 25 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Bishop.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years of marriage, Elodia Garza of Bishop; one daughter, Christina Cavanaugh (Matthew) of Bishop; three sons, Daniel Garza (Margo) of Corpus Christi, Andy Garza (Cindy) of Kyle, Texas and Adrian Garza of San Antonio, Texas; father, Abel Garza Sr. of Bishop; one brother, Ruben Garza of Bishop; four sisters, Gloria Garza of Corpus Christi, Anna Morales of Bishop, Velma Hunt of Frisco, Texas and Sandra Garcia of Bishop; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, Bishop. At the conclusion of the Rosary, a Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. John Xaviour as celebrant.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
