Ann Patterson

Mildred Ann Patterson, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the age of 77.  Ann was an artist in so many ways, and throughout her life she displayed this through various mediums such as photography, sewing, cake decorating, and crafting. She was also a very kind and generous lady who never hesitated to help. On many occasions she used her talents to help others, like when crocheted several hundred hats for Driscoll Children's Hospital.

Though her greatest joy was her grandchildren.  Devyn, Sara, GladysAnn, and Henry-Wayne brought out her creative side. There is no doubt she has impacted each and every one of them; through her grandchildren, she will continue on.  Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Georgia Cash; brother, Melvin C. Cash, Jr.; and sister, Martha Whitlow.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wayne Patterson; daughter, DeAnna (Ty) Hamblin; son, Darryl (Kelli) Patterson; grandchildren, Devyn Hamblin, Sara Hamblin, GladysAnn Patterson, and Henry-Wayne Patterson; sister, Methel Carrol; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  A chapel service will take place on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Turcotte-Piper.  A Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
