My condolences to the family. May our kind and loving heavenly father give you peace and hope. Many ask at times like this, "Why did she have to die?" Mary had a long life. Some say she just got old and it was her time to die. Others say maybe that God needed another angel. Our ancient book of wisdom, the Bible explains in Genesis 3:1-16 that people die because Adam and Eve disobeyed God and brought death on themselves and their offspring. Romans 5:12 says it best; " Wherefore*, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." KJV Is there hope for those who have died? Jesus, in John 5:28, 29 promised a resurrection of the dead and Psalm 37:10, 11 says the righteous will live forever on the earth. I hope this helps a little. You can text me if you like or call me. My Cell phone number is 762-241-7322. Steve
